Marketing Materials and design for EPK/BLOG
For this assignment I have created a logo. I made this by using a website called Canva which was easy to use, and the logo was a superior quality to use on my professional development. I also had to create a blog, so I decided to use blogger for my EPK because it is easy to use and less likely to be hacked as it is a google program. I have started work on a website for my portfolio using Wix. I chose Wix because it was an easy website to use and had a choice for AI to choose the layout for the website. In means of multimedia content, I have a picture of myself sat at the desk in the recording studio and a video of myself preparing to mix.
Marketing is never a single thing like a poster or a flyer. The promotional material needed will be a collection of carefully thought out and considered items that create a picture to encourage and motivate the audience. Understanding promotion is best done my thinking a proposing a method to a scenario. Marketing Is a Crucial Part of the Process of Promotion.
The four key points that I need to take into consideration
when promoting a product are that I need to find out my target audience as part
of my demographic. To find out my target audience I completed primary and
secondary research. To do this I researched what the demographic of some of my
favourite artists/producers are. Some forms of marketing I have committed to
creating include making a blog using blogger which is easy to navigate and
create blogs for. I also have an online presence as I have created a twitter
account for my professional development in the music industry. I have also
created a logo and website using Canva and Wix, respectively. Things that
marketing does include to advertise the product and introduce contemporary
music to fans. To connect with fans through video streams (I.e., publicity on
YouTube)
