The Book Of Blu

Hey guys it's me… again! Here with another update on this here blog. So the music I have been listening to can be found on my last.fm account which I will find a way to drop a link to it in the blog sooner or later. I've started listening to the early music from the Weeknd ( you know the songs from 'House Of Balloons' 'Echoes Of Silence' and 'Thursday' ) and so far I am enjoying them. My favourite song so far is the title track of the 'House Of Balloons' EP 'Glass Table Girls'. I find that it is a very chill vibe when I listen to this music and it is very calming compared to the more recent Weeknd songs rom his later releases.  I am also going to start listening to more music from different era's of music such as the 80's and 70's. Even the era's of music I am not a fan of ( 90's and 00's ) I will give a chance. This is a great opportunity to develop ideas and gain inspiration for my future projects/releases. As we...

The following was so important to my blog I had to mention it in a part 2 of the progress update for today. Since I uploaded part 1 I have completed my next EP which is titled 'Minimal Madness' and am looking now at a possible release date of Friday the 18th of February 2022 although the date could change at any point. If the promotion of this EP goes well then this could possibly be my favourite EP to promote as all of the past EP's weren't promoted as strongly as this one. For this I have created 4 promo videos for the BluIvory_Official YouTube channel.  I 'll drop a link to it in a page coming to the blo g soon. Hi all , it's me...  Ya boi Blu. Here's an update. It is the 15th of February 2022 and I am currently working on my 5th EP which is due to be released sometime in March. I am also obsessed with the following songs - Real Breezy by Chromeo This 2:58 banger by Canadian funk duo Chromeo is easily one of my favourite songs to listen to. Sadly it is only available on YouTube. - Lose Yourself by Eminem Now I'm not a HUGE fan of rap music but boy do I love this one. From the soundtrack of '8-mile' (which btw is one of the greatest movies EVER) Lose Yourself references the plot of the movie which I won't spoil as you'll have to watch it to find out.  - Take My Breath by The Weeknd I did want to put Out Of Time by The Weeknd in this but I just felt like 'Take My Breath' is better.
